Product Manager: Building a Shopify App

The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of a comprehensive product, incorporating Shopify integration, Google API connections, and a user-friendly interface.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and build a robust platform for store data, policies, and feed configurations.
  • Design secure authentication flows using Shopify OAuth and Google API OAuth.
  • Implement database models to handle structured data and metafields/metaobjects.
  • Integrate with Shopify Admin GraphQL API to create/update pages and inject data.
  • Handle billing with Shopify Billing API and manage subscription tiers.
  • Connect to Google Merchant Center via Content API for Shopping & GMC API to pull diagnostics and manage feeds.
  • Build automated syncing of product data between Shopify and GMC.
  • Frontend Development:
  • Create intuitive merchant-facing UI in Shopify Polaris (React).
  • Design dashboards for misrepresentation scan results and other key metrics.
