Job Summary:

We seek a seasoned manufacturing professional to lead end-to-end operations across production, assembly, fabrication and machine assembly.

This role demands strategic thinking with deep hands-on experience in capital equipment manufacturing domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive operational excellence across critical departments.
  • Ensure timely execution of manufacturing plans with focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
  • Establish and enforce manufacturing SOPs, process sheets, routings and control plans.
  • Lead procurement and vendor management for raw materials, consumables and bought-outs.
  • Collaborate with stores and planning teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
  • Develop monthly and weekly production schedules based on sales forecasts and available resources.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely material availability and production readiness.
  • Monitor production progress and drive actions to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes, audits and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Champion lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput.
  • Implement performance KPIs across all functions and conduct regular operational reviews.
  • Lead, mentor and develop department managers and team leaders.
  • Ensure full utilization of ERP systems across departments.
  • Implement data-driven decision making and digital tools to improve operational visibility.
  • Ensure strict adherence to factory safety norms and EHS compliance.
Candidate Profile
  • 15–20 years of relevant manufacturing experience in capital equipment, machinery or engineering industries.
  • Hands-on exposure to fabrication, machining and machine assembly shop floors.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with industry best practices.
