Job Opportunity: Senior Analog Design Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Analog Design Engineer to develop, execute, and optimize plans for characterizing analog mixed signal macros. The successful candidate will be responsible for extracting timing models for digital interfaces, ensuring the accuracy of Hspice simulations, and implementing automation improvements using shell/perl/tcl or python.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analog Mixed Signal Macro Characterization: Develop and execute comprehensive plans for characterizing analog mixed signal macros, including correlated timing model data with Hspice simulations.
  • Timing Model Extraction: Extract timing models for analog-digital interfaces and review path, topology reports for consistency and correctness.
  • Methodology and Flow Improvements: Identify opportunities for automation using shell/perl/tcl or python and implement improvements in methodology and flow.
  • Lib Characterization: Leverage 3-4 years of experience in lib characterization for AMS macros, focusing on solid understanding of timing fundamentals.
  • Automation and Communication: Utilize effective communication skills and organize methodically, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of results.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience in lib characterization for AMS macros.
  • NanoTime Expertise: Must have experience with NanoTime.
  • Hspice/Spectre Familiarity: Experience in Hspice/Spectre simulators is desirable.
  • Automation Skills: Proficiency in automation using shell/perl/tcl or python is essential.
