Chief Technology Officer

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technological advancement and digital transformation efforts. The CTO will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining cutting-edge technological infrastructure, including ERP systems, cybersecurity protocols, cloud services, web portals, software licensing, and other technological enhancements.

• Technology Strategy and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in online education, AI, and related fields. Develop and communicate a forward-thinking technology strategy aligned with the long-term vision and mission of Ganpat University.
• Establishment and Management of Systems: Oversee the implementation and management of robust ERP systems, LMS, HRMS systems, cybersecurity measures, cloud services, and other technological solutions necessary for our operations.
• Cybersecurity, Data Security & Compliance: Lead efforts to establish and maintain state-of-the-art cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive university data and systems from potential threats and breaches.
• Technology Infrastructure Enhancement: Identify opportunities for technological enhancements within our existing system, leveraging innovative solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, server management, and user experience.
• Continuous Technological Upgradation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in higher education technology and spearhead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation.
• Online Education Infrastructure Development: Lead the development and implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure online education platforms and systems.
• Ai Integration: Identify opportunities for leveraging AI technologies to enhance learning outcomes and streamline educational processes.
• Team Leadership and Management: Build and lead a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• LMS Development & Optimization: Oversee the deployment, customization, and integration of LMS platforms to meet faculty, student, and administrative needs.
• Staff Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to educate staff members on the effective use of technology tools and systems in their daily responsibilities.

Qualification and Eligibility Criteria:

• Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; Ph.D. degree preferred.
• Proven experience of 15-18 years in a relevant field and minimum of 10 years at senior leadership role overseeing technology functions within a complex organization.
• Extensive knowledge of ERP systems, cybersecurity best practices, cloud computing, web portals, software licensing, and other relevant technologies.
