Job Description

As a Senior Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for performance and load testing of multiple SAAS-based products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Development, execution, analysis, and maintenance of performance scripts
  • Analysing bottlenecks and recommending improvement areas
  • Setup performance benchmarking for workflows and products
  • Responsible to sign off release from performance standpoint
  • Involved in build, deployment, managing environments, and setting infrastructure

You will also be expected to:

  • Organise demos to all stakeholders and present readable reports with analysis
  • Understand customer issues and challenges, provide analysis, and recommendations
  • Collaborate effectively with product, development, and QA team members
  • Council and mentor junior engineers
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 5-8 years of experience in performance testing
  • Expertise in server, client, and DB side performance and load testing
  • Expertise in performance and load testing tools - JMeter
  • Expertise in monitoring tools - Datadog/AppDynamics/Dynatrace
  • Good-to-have experience in JavaScript/Typescript and Playwright or any JS-based automation tool
  • Expertise in cloud-based (preferably Azure) build, deployment, environment, and infrastructure management
  • Expertise in version controls with GIT (bitbucket)
  • Strong ability to develop scripts, execute, analyse report, and present to stakeholders
  • Strong ability to do performance bottleneck analysis and benchmarking
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a Master's preferred
  • 5+ years of proven experience
