We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale data processing systems using Apache Spark and Scala.

Your primary focus will be on building and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring high-performance data processing, and maintaining the integrity and security of our data assets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and other engineers, to deliver solutions that meet our business needs.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in application development, with at least 8 years of experience in building and optimizing distributed data processing systems. You should be proficient in Apache Spark, Scala, and Spark SQL, as well as Cloudera Hadoop components such as HDFS, Hive, Impala, HBase, Kafka, and Sqoop. Familiarity with other Big Data technologies, including Apache Kafka, Flume, Oozie, and Nifi, is also desirable.

You should have hands-on experience with ETL pipeline development, data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data lakes. Additionally, you should be familiar with version control tools like Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab). Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role, as you will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
