As an Operations Business Risk Advisor, you will be an integral part of our Business Risk Management team, supporting the Global Markets and Global Credit Finance Business Units as well as the Corporate Finance, Global Human Resources, Legal and Enterprise Risk Management Corporate Functions.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of operational risk management principles and practices, with a proven track record of identifying and mitigating risks in complex financial systems. You will work closely with first-line process owners to ensure that business line controls are designed and operating effectively, maintaining a complete view of all assurance events, audit and regulatory exams scheduled for Operations.
You will also play a key role in driving a culture of risk excellence, leading regular Operations aligned Risk Forums and facilitating consistent execution of central risk program and corporate policy requirements within Operations. Additionally, you will support the development and implementation of risk management strategies, ensuring ongoing adherence to Issues & Incidents policy requirements and serving as a review and challenge role from identification through completion of remediation activities.
To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 11-15 years of experience in risk, compliance and/or audit functions within the financial industry. Strong organizational collaboration and communication capabilities, ability to successfully facilitate and resolve conflicts, and propensity to drive issues toward resolution are essential skills for success in this position.
