Network Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This is a key role in maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of high-performance network systems ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Issue resolution: Respond promptly to network-related incidents, minimizing downtime and service disruption.
  • Configuration management: Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls.
  • Security enforcement: Implement and maintain network security policies to safeguard against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and threats.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, processes, and procedures.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with IT teams to support overall infrastructure and ensure seamless operations.
  • Upgrades & Updates: Plan and execute network upgrades, firmware updates, and patches to ensure systems are secure, stable, and up-to-date.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify issues and generate performance reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent field of study.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:
  • Cloud networking solutions and SDN technologies such as Cisco ACI.
  • Palo Alto Firewalls and implementing security policies.
  • F5 Load Balancers for high availability and traffic distribution.
  • Network automation tools and scripting using Python.
  • Cisco routing and switching technologies.
  • Network monitoring and diagnostics tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or Wireshark.
  • Networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
  • Network security principles, threat mitigation, and compliance standards.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Cisco ACI DCACI or equivalent are preferred.
