Role Overview

This role requires an experienced petrophysicist to deliver high-quality analysis, integrating geological and engineering data for subsurface descriptions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver accurate petrophysical analysis and integrate with geoscience and engineering information.
  • Develop effective subsurface scenarios, characterize, and communicate uncertainties.
  • Plan and deliver relevant technical products.
  • Communicate subsurface uncertainty clearly to colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in a relevant science-based field, such as geology or geophysics.
  • At least 12 years of experience in petrophysics within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficiency in well log interpretation packages, preferably Techlog and Petrel.
  • Experience with various logging tools and interpretation methods.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience across the entire field life cycle, from exploration to decline/abandonment.
  • Well planning expertise.
  • International working experience.
  • Familiarity with agile project management.
