Operational Risk Leadership">Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a high-performing team of risk management professionals with expertise in operations risk.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across multiple business verticals and support functions.
  • Enhance the organization's early warning systems by designing smart triggers for early detection of risk exposure.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to evaluate process-level risks and controls.
  • Develop and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and collaborate with departments to design actionable risk mitigation plans.
  • Manage the risk incident database and provide timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with field risk teams and leadership to monitor and escalate operational risks.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement of the operational risk framework.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in risk management, preferably in financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of operational processes in financial services.
  • Proficient in risk control frameworks, incident management, and risk reporting tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and drive a risk-conscious culture.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
  • Proven track record in risk leadership roles, preferably in banking, NBFC, or microfinance sectors.
  • Strong exposure to field operations risk, especially in distributed branch-led models.
  • Experience working with regulatory audits is a plus.
  • Ability to manage teams and projects independently.
