Healthcare Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Operations Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

This role involves managing clinic workflows, including front desk and clerical tasks, patient assistance, and scheduling. The ideal candidate will have strong background in healthcare operations and data management.

  • Manage end-to-end clinic workflows, including registration, records, and data entry.
  • Train and support staff on electronic health record systems (EHRs), focusing on user experience and efficient data capture.
  • Oversee billing and claims processing, ensuring accurate coding and timely resolution of errors.
  • Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations, protecting patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Develop and implement process improvements in patient registration, chart management, data quality, and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of EHR systems, including Epic and Cerner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to train and mentor staff.
  • Experience with healthcare metrics, reporting, and data quality management.
