Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Performance Test Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development or performance testing and engineering with systems analysis, including agile practices.

The successful candidate will engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services - from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support services before they go live through system design consulting, capacity planning, risk assessments, and launch reviews.
  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Run continuous improvement activities that improve service availability, recovery, efficiency, and performance.
  • Work with the team to implement highly available and scalable architectures for core and third-party components of the service.
  • Implement metrics, monitoring, and incident response processes.
  • Align with/improve change management and capacity planning processes.
  • Monitor levels of manual effort and drive improvement through automation and stability.

Requirements:

  • End-to-end performance testing using LoadRunner and JMeter.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like APPD, Grafana, Splunk.
  • DevOps and CI/CD with WebLogic, Oracle Databases, Cloud-native services.
  • Gatling, AWS Cloud, Harness, K6.
Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

8+ years of experience in software development or performance testing and engineering with systems analysis.

Experience with agile practices.

Proficient in end-to-end performance testing using LoadRunner and JMeter.

Familiarity with monitoring tools like APPD, Grafana, Splunk.

Experience with DevOps and CI/CD with WebLogic, Oracle Databases, Cloud-native services.

Knowledge of Gatling, AWS Cloud, Harness, K6.
