About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Native Technical Architect to join our team. As a critical member of our Fusion Applications Technical Architecture team, you will play a key role in defining the next generation architecture (codename Spectra) based on cloud native principles running in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The migration from a monolith to a modern cloud-based micro-service architecture opens new avenues to work with a wide range of state-of-the-art technologies and OCI services. It will also mean instituting better processes and practices as we transform to software as a service development model that includes following industry standard developer workflows, CICD pipelines, safe deployment practices, cloud-based automated testing, DevOps culture, etc.

Job Description
  • Design and develop a new policy management and authorization cloud-native service that will be a critical part of hundreds of other services, helping to manage policies and make authorization decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain CICD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of cloud-native services.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of software development experience, preferably in cloud-native environments.
  • Proficient in data structures and computer fundamentals, with excellent coding, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management systems, including industry standard protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
  • Experience working with scalable distributed systems, cloud deployment security, and security lifecycle and operations practices.
  • Familiarity with open-source tools and integration, as well as knowledge of cloud architecture and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and service mesh products.

$145,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience.
