Medical Annotation Operations Leader

Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled Medical Annotation Operations Leader to drive our medical annotation operations at scale. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams of medical professionals, driving operational excellence through data-driven decision making and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management:
    • Manage daily work allocation and scheduling for large-scale medical annotator teams.
    • Monitor real-time annotation queues and redistribute workload to prevent bottlenecks.
    • Create predictive analytics for capacity planning.
    • Ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures.
  • Productivity Management:
    • Develop scalable frameworks to track, audit, and report productivity of individual annotators.
    • Implement productivity improvement initiatives.
    • Coordinate with medical quality managers on complex cases.
  • Reporting:
    • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports and performance analytics.
    • Develop comprehensive business intelligence (BI) dashboards for reporting to leadership.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 3+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience.
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
  • 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
