Automotive Lighting System Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Lighting System Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of automotive lighting systems, overseeing team coordination and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop lighting systems and components for headlamps, rear lamps, and indicator lamps, ensuring compliance with regulatory norms and standards.
  • Evaluate vendors and generate RFQs to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with EEE teams to define interface requirements and layout vehicle DMU designs.
  • Conduct design reviews, FMEA, and other tools in the design phase to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Develop performance and reliability test parameters and procedures to ensure high-quality products.
  • Maintain industry trends, regulations, and long-term roadmaps to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Benchmark and generate ideas for improved performance, quality, cost, and weight through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze quality issues and warranty cases using QC tools to drive process improvements.
  • Define project schedules and ensure adherence to deliver results-driven outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive lighting system design and development.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory norms and standards related to automotive lighting systems.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with design reviews, FMEA, and other tools.
  • Proficiency in English language (written and spoken).
