Software Engineering Role

We are seeking an accomplished software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of scalable and maintainable software systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement microservices using modern Java functional programming concepts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on event-driven systems utilizing Kafka and apply architectural patterns such as Choreography, Strangler, and Sidecar.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure technical excellence and innovation.
  • Deploy applications in cloud environments using services like Cloud Run, GKE, etc., and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Write clean, testable, and scalable code with a focus on readability and maintainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Core Java & Functional Programming
    • Deep understanding of Java Streams, Functional Interfaces, Lambda expressions, Supplier, Consumer, Function, and reduce operations.
    • Experience with newer Java features (preferably Java 17+).
  • Microservices & Architecture
    • Strong knowledge of microservices design patterns including: Choreography (Kafka-based), Strangler Pattern, Sidecar Pattern.
  • Cloud & DevOps
    • Hands-on experience deploying applications in cloud providers (AWS, Azure).
    • Familiarity with Cloud Run, GKE, or equivalents in other clouds.
