About Cost Estimation

Job Description:

We seek a skilled professional to handle the estimation of machined and fabricated components. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing technical drawings, and coordinating with various teams to ensure project costing is on track.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mechanical engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office, and experience in manufacturing/machinery estimation. ERP familiarity is also preferred.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for machined and fabricated components
  • Analyze technical drawings and specifications to develop BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and sales teams for project costing
  • Engage in reverse engineering and estimation for new developments
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize vendor pricing
  • Maintain and update cost databases for bought-out items
  • Support RFQ/RFP responses and prepare techno-commercial proposals
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2–5 years in manufacturing/machinery estimation
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Office
  • ERP familiarity preferred
