Quality Assurance Leader

The Quality Assurance Leader oversees the entire engineering and development process, focusing on delivering top-quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensures quality standards are met by monitoring all stages of solution development, identifying and resolving defects, and communicating quality standards to relevant parties.
  • Develops and executes tests prior to launch or implementation to guarantee solutions run smoothly and meet requirements while being cost-effective.
  • Collaborates with software, network, systems, and infrastructure engineers to create an automated pipeline for solution development, developing processes and protocols that ensure quality throughout all stages of development.
  • Communicates and collaborates with consumers and other engineering teams to implement continuous feedback, researching technologies and methodologies applicable to solution design.
  • Consults with software engineering teams to identify opportunities to shorten test cycles and lower testing costs, continuously driving toward test-driven development.
  • Analyses and documents test results, providing recommendations and solutions when necessary.
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in QA engineering or a related field, managing engineers and/or technical personnel, with hands-on experience with end-to-end software development of complex multi-tiered systems.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and executing tests, applying testing methodologies and technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills.
  • Understanding of multiple programming languages, including at least one front-end framework (Angular/React/Vue), such as Python3, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Golang, C, C++, etc.
  • Experience with UNIX or Linux and Windows operating systems, comfortable using standard UNIX utilities to do testing and identify issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing sensitive financial data, working in the financial services industry.
  • 5+ years of experience with Test Automation, setting up Test automation frameworks, writing test automation scripts that can be integrated and executed in a CICD pipeline.
  • Experience with automation technologies, tools, and frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, Test Complete, EggPlant, Appium, Perfecto, ReadyAPI, etc.
  • Experience with cyber security, coursework or certifications in cyber security matters.
  • Experience with GitHub, JIRA, Xray.
  • Experience in DevSecOps environment and processes is a plus.
Education and Certifications:
  • A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
