The Role: Pricing Specialist

To provide financial support to our Sales team for large and complex Global opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse client budgets, identify missing information, and propose action plans to address shortfalls for deal approval.
  • Assist deal teams in analysing client budgets, risks, mitigation strategies, and opportunities for stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of financial impacts.
  • Understand and work within US GAAP policies, identifying risks and opportunities associated with deal shaping, regulatory environments, and stakeholder requirements.
  • C coordinate with tax and legal teams to ensure client and company tax efficiency and legality in resource transfer, asset transfer, and leasing scenarios.
  • P present financial context to Sales Leads, Finance leads, and other stakeholders to influence deal shaping and client negotiations, supporting decision-making.
  • E escalate deals with poor financial metrics, working with teams to improve financial attributes before moving forward.
  • C commit to thought leadership and continuous learning by contributing to CDTS knowledge capital.
  • T work with deal teams to calculate prices and margins using internal pricing tools, combining costing information with commercial parameters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Corporate Finance strategies, tools, and techniques, including financing alternatives, equity and debt markets, entity valuation, shareholder value, EVA diagnostic, investment appraisal, cost baselining, due diligence, options, US GAAP, and local GAAP.
  • Working knowledge of accounting for business combinations, asset purchase or lease accounting, principal vs. agent, and revenue recognition.
