Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Manager to spearhead our organization's legal and regulatory affairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including third-party contracts, service agreements, partnerships, and license agreements.
  • Provide strategic guidance on general corporate legal matters, leveraging expertise in the Indian Companies Act, 2013, and related regulations.
  • Design and implement efficient contract negotiation and management processes, including the development of standard form agreements and legal databases.
  • Lead communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage proactively with regulatory bodies, providing policy advocacy support and ensuring compliance with RBI, SEBI, FEMA, and other relevant frameworks.
Requirements
  • A Law Graduate from a recognized university with 3-5 years post-qualification experience, preferably from a law firm.
  • Experience in fintech, banking, M&A, and/or general corporate legal matters is essential.
  • Candidates with prior exposure to debt transactions and the fintech/banking sector will be given preference.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks such as RBI guidelines for NBFCs, SEBI, FEMA, and Companies Act compliance.
