Research and Development Product Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to join our company as a Research and Development Product Lead.

We are seeking a seasoned professional with exceptional leadership skills, strong understanding of technology, and the ability to inspire and guide software developers to deliver innovative products.

The successful candidate will act as the bridge between our Headquarters and the local development team, ensuring that products are delivered in line with strategic objectives, technical standards, and market needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define Product Vision: Develop and communicate the product vision and roadmap aligned with HQ guidelines.
  • Translate Requirements: Ensure clear translation of HQ requirements into actionable development tasks.
  • Innovation and Growth: Identify opportunities for innovation and growth in product features and performance.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of software developers, fostering collaboration, productivity, and accountability.
  • Product Delivery: Provide leadership to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
  • Agile Methodologies: Implement agile methodologies and best practices in product development.
  • Product Lifecycle: Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation, development, testing, launch, and iteration.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet functional, technical, and design standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with QA and design teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Liaison Role: Act as the primary liaison with HQ, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
  • Reporting: Present product updates, progress reports, and strategic recommendations.
  • Business Acumen: Balance business needs with technical feasibility and team capacity.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience as a Product Manager in software, digital products, or SaaS environments.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver applications and SaaS products.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development processes, cloud technologies, and agile methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken), with experience working directly with international teams/HQ.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to translate product vision into actionable development plans.
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
