Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Manual Tester to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The ideal candidate will focus on functional and regression testing across various platforms, working closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual functional testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Execute and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on requirements.
  • Validate bug fixes, track issues in the bug tracking system, and ensure they are resolved.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure that defects are reported clearly, including steps to reproduce and an impact analysis.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective) to align testing with delivery timelines.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with clients and stakeholders.

Performance Metrics (KPIs):

  • Defect Detection Rate: ≥ 95% of critical issues identified before release.
  • Defect Leakage: ≤ 5% of high-severity issues reported post-release.
  • Test Coverage: ≥ 90% of functional requirements validated per sprint.
  • Bug Closure Rate: ≥ 90% of reported bugs resolved within committed sprint.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in manual QA testing for SaaS or enterprise platforms.
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Ability to write clear and structured test cases.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience testing AMS, LMS, e-commerce, or membership platforms.
  • Familiarity with Postman or other API testing tools.
  • Exposure to WordPress, React/Next.js-based platforms.
  • Understanding of accessibility and performance testing basics.
