This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our experienced design team, gain practical industry experience, and contribute to real-world projects.

Amber is the largest student housing platform globally, with 1M+ units listed in 6 countries and across 100+ cities.

The Opportunity:

  • Collaborate with the product design team to create and refine user interfaces and experiences.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for various digital products.
  • Contribute to user research activities and translate insights into actionable design solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design concepts are effectively implemented.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our digital products.
  • Develop and maintain visual design systems and style guides.
  • Analyze user feedback and iterate on designs accordingly.
  • Communicate design ideas and decisions to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Figma with a strong understanding of design principles.
  • Basic knowledge of the design process from ideation to execution.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to receive constructive feedback.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing design projects and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in user research.
  • Knowledge of emerging design technologies.
