Logistics Operations Manager

This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, from inventory control and warehouse coordination to transportation tracking and documentation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and cost-efficient movement of goods, adhering to safety and compliance standards while implementing logistics plans for timely deliveries.

Key aspects of the job include:

  • Logistics Coordination: support route planning and shipment scheduling for optimal efficiency, coordinate with transporters and third-party logistics providers, and negotiate and execute transportation agreements.
  • Inventory & Warehouse Support: monitor stock levels, ensure proper documentation during goods receipt, storage, and dispatch, and maintain proper product storage and safety standards.
  • Transportation & Vendor Handling: track inbound and outbound shipments, escalate delays or issues, and coordinate with vendors to optimize logistics processes.
  • Compliance & Documentation: maintain accurate logistics records, ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations, and follow safety protocols.
  • Reporting & Cost Monitoring: provide daily/weekly logistics updates and reports to management, track logistics expenses, and highlight cost-optimization opportunities.

Candidates for this position should possess a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, 2–4 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations, and proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, WMS) and MS Excel.
