We are seeking a highly skilled Editorial Support Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:
  • Provide exceptional support to external academic editors, acting as the first point of contact for incoming queries.
  • Ensure new editors receive the best possible experience when joining the editorial board of our journals.
  • Handle requests assigned to you in the editor support inbox, working closely with the Editor Support Specialist to resolve queries and maintain accurate data.
Responsibilities:
  • Support new Editorial Board Members (EBMs) through the onboarding process, ensuring they are fully-equipped to perform their roles.
  • Support the Editorial Engagement Support Specialist with the Editorial Board refinement process and analysis of related data.
  • Process requests from internal and external editors via the editor support inbox, owning all requests assigned to you and following through to completion.
Requirements:
  • Experience of STM journal publishing, with an understanding of peer review and the role of Editorial Boards.
  • Well-versed with publishing workflow systems and processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with others.
  • A high level of computer literacy, with the ability to quickly learn new software skills.
