Job Opportunity

  • System Development Expertise: This role requires developing new wash systems for washing machines and dryers, catering to both Indian and global markets.
  • Analytical Tools Application: The successful candidate will apply analytical tools to create unique selling points (USPs) and algorithms for home appliances.
  • Risk Identification and Resolution: Identifying and resolving potential risks through Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) is a critical aspect of this position.
  • Troubleshooting and System-Level Issues: Troubleshooting and resolving system-level issues, taking into account consumer and process partner requirements, is essential.
  • Customer and Marketing Expectations: Understanding basic customer and marketing expectations is crucial for success in this role.

Required Skills:

  • Product/Technology Development & Testing: Experience in product and technology development and testing in the home appliances domain, including dryers, refrigeration, AC, and WMC, is necessary.
  • Global Energy and Performance Standards: Knowledge of global energy and performance standards, including AHAM, IEC 60456, and IS Standards, is required.
  • Theoretical Knowledge of Fluid Dynamics and Detergent Chemistry: Strong theoretical knowledge of fluid dynamics and detergent chemistry is essential.
  • Communication, Project & Team Management: Good communication, project, and team management skills are necessary for success.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel within India, S. Korea, or other parts of the world for short or long durations is required.

Desired Skills:

  • System Programming Language: Knowledge of system programming languages, with Python being preferred, is desirable.
  • Sensor Interfacing: In-depth knowledge of interfacing sensors, both analog and digital, is beneficial.
  • Design/CAD Software: Experience in design/CAD software, with a plus for refrigeration/Air condition cycle knowledge, is desirable.
  • Six-Sigma: Exposure and experience in Six-Sigma, with black belt certification being a plus, is beneficial.
  • Global Teams: Working experience with global teams is highly desirable.
  • Korean Language Proficiency: Korean language proficiency, including speaking, reading, and writing abilities, is an added advantage.
