About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Artificial Intelligence Researcher to contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI solutions for analyzing complex biological datasets. This exciting opportunity enables transformative insights from multi-omics and biomedical data, advancing our understanding of life sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize machine learning algorithms for analyzing large-scale biological data, encompassing genomics, transcriptomics, mass spectrometry, and imaging datasets.
  • Develop innovative approaches to integrate diverse data types (e.g., multi-omics, clinical, imaging) to derive meaningful biological insights, fostering new discoveries in the life sciences.
  • Stay up-to-date with state-of-the-art AI methods and their applications in life sciences to propose novel solutions, addressing real-world challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with bioinformaticians, data scientists, and domain experts to ensure seamless integration of AI models into workflows, driving efficient and accurate results.
  • Optimize and deploy AI models on cloud platforms for scalable analysis, ensuring high-performance computing and robust results.
  • Work collaboratively on preprocessing, feature engineering, and quality control of large, noisy biological datasets, leveraging expertise in AI and computational biology.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or Master's degree (2-3 years experience) in AI, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field, with a strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and statistical methods.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn), proficiency in Python, and excellent problem-solving skills with an aptitude for interpreting complex biological data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, driving cross-functional teamwork and open communication.
  • Experience working with cloud technologies (like AWS, GCP, Azure) and scalable computing platforms, ensuring efficient deployment and maintenance of AI models.

Good-to-have:

  • Experience with biological datasets (e.g., NGS, proteomics, or imaging) and applying AI to multi-omics data integration, showcasing expertise in computational biology and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with biomedical ontologies, pathway analysis, or systems biology approaches, demonstrating a deep understanding of life sciences and its complexities.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience, offering a competitive compensation package that reflects your value to the organization.
