Enterprise Risk Management Executive Role

The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function plays a critical role in ensuring the overall success of an organization. As a Deputy Manager-Risk Management, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational activities within this function, guaranteeing effective implementation and maintenance of risk management frameworks.

  • This involves designing and implementing robust internal control systems to mitigate risks and enhance business processes, as well as identifying, evaluating, and documenting control weaknesses and deficiencies, and developing recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.
  • You will also prepare and maintain comprehensive Risk Registers (RCSA) to track and manage enterprise risks, conduct regular reviews of current business processes, and update the Enterprise Risk Policy to reflect changing regulatory and strategic scenarios.
  • In addition, you will collaborate with Principal Risk Owners to identify key risks and mitigating controls in their business units, as well as action plans to address any gaps in mitigating measures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement risk management frameworks to ensure the identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks across the organization.
  • Evaluate and document the effectiveness of existing risk management processes and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and cooperation in achieving risk management objectives.
Requirements
  • A graduate degree in finance, management, or risk management from a reputable institution, along with certifications such as FRM, CFA, CBCP, and similar designations.
  • At least 4-8 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Exchange ecosystem and operations.
Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to design and evaluate the effectiveness of controls embedded within business processes.
  • Understanding of risk and governance standards, such as COSO framework and Basel Corporate Governance Principles.
