Lead Plumbing and Fire Fighting Design Specialist

The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise to deliver high-quality design solutions for plumbing and fire fighting systems.

  • Develop comprehensive design deliverables, staying up-to-date with industry advancements.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management and team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed design basis reports for plumbing and fire fighting systems, including required drawings and sketches.
  • Perform complex hydraulic calculations for determining flowrates, head, and pipe sizes for various systems.
Design Deliverables:
  • Estimate water storage and reserve requirements, deciding on U.G and O.H storage tank sizes and arrangements.
  • Plan pump rooms, networking pumps, piping, panels, and other equipment.
Project Management:
  • Coordinate vendor data reviews, participating in discussions with authorities, and witnessing equipment testing.
  • Attend meetings with clients or representatives, conducting site visits as needed.
Documentation Processes:
  • Ensure inter-disciplinary checks and clearances from discipline leaders.
  • Adhere to company processes, obtaining reviews from assigned experts.
IT/Software Skills:
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Knowledgeable about AutoCAD.
  • Experienced in REVIT 3D Modelling and Pipenet Spray/Sprinkler module.
