Job Title: Fraud Risk Analyst

The Fraud Risk Analyst will play a pivotal role in detecting, preventing and mitigating fraud risks associated with unsecured lending products.

This position requires an individual who can effectively leverage data analysis, trend analysis, and investigative techniques to identify and prevent fraudulent activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations of potential fraud cases, focusing on unsecured lending products such as personal loans, credit cards, and lines of credit.
  • Utilize advanced data analysis tools and techniques to identify suspicious behavior, including transaction monitoring and customer profiling.
  • Take ownership of fraud cases from detection to resolution, ensuring timely investigation and reporting.
  • Document findings, including risk assessments, mitigation measures, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze large datasets to detect unusual patterns or anomalies, utilizing specialized fraud detection software.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of portfolio delinquency and suspicious cases, providing actionable insights for business growth.
  • Monitor fraud trends and adapt investigative techniques to address evolving threats, ensuring proactive fraud prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including collections, credit underwriting, and risk management, to integrate fraud controls and optimize business outcomes.
  • Develop comprehensive fraud categorization frameworks for the portfolio, presenting key findings to senior leadership.
  • Provide training and support to verification staff, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with established procedures.
