Quality Assurance Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA specialist to join our team at Navi Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes. They will be hands-on experienced with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright, and proficient in at least one programming/scripting language - Java, Python, or JavaScript.

The successful candidate will also have experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control. Additionally, they will be familiar with Agile/Scrum development processes, API testing, and performance testing.

In this role, the QA specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts, as well as identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs and issues using tracking tools.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They will also have a solid understanding of cloud environments, containerized applications, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tracking tools
  • Develops testing documents such as STD, STR, SDD, SRS
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, performance, and usability testing
  • Set up and maintain automation frameworks for continuous testing and CI/CD pipelines
  • Create and execute appropriate test strategies and processes that align with business objectives and project timelines
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies for quality assurance

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience 3–5 years as a QA Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language - Java, Python, JavaScript
  • Experience with version control systems e.g., Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
  • Experience with API testing - Postman, RestAssured
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools - JMeter, LoadRunner
  • Exposure to cloud environments AWS, Azure, GCP and containerised applications Docker, Kubernetes

Qualifications and Certification:

  • B.E / B.tech / MCA
  • Certification in QA testing will be an advantage
