Data Engineer Opportunity

Experience level: Advanced professionals with 5+ years of experience in a related field are preferred.

Job Type: Contract, Full-time/Part-time, Remote work available.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in Postgres SQL, including query writing, CTEs, window functions, indexing, and optimization. Familiarity with data modeling, particularly star schema and facts & dimensions, is also required. Additionally, semi-structured data handling, such as json/jsonb in Postgres, and ETL/ELT tools like Airbyte are essential skills for this role. Experience in preparing data for dashboards, preferably using Tableau, and understanding of data validation, QA checks, and troubleshooting are necessary. Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration are vital.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Postgres SQL expertise (advanced query writing, CTEs, window functions, indexing, optimization)
