Data Cloud Architect Job Description

Job Title: Data Cloud Architect

Location: Remote

Job Type: Freelance/Contract - 6 months

As a Data Cloud Architect, you will spearhead our organization's data cloud initiatives. You will need to possess deep knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Customer Data Platform) and have strong leadership skills to guide technical teams.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable data cloud solutions, defining data models and ingestion strategies, collaborating with business stakeholders, managing data governance, security, and compliance, and integrating data platforms.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of Salesforce platform experience with at least 3+ years dedicated to Data Cloud/Customer Data Platform (CDP)
  • Proven expertise in Salesforce architecture, data integration, and enterprise solution design
  • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, connectors, and real-time streaming
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, identity resolution, consent management, and profile unification
  • Deep understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices
