Job Title: Lead Structural Designer

As a Senior Design Specialist, you will oversee the creation of structural 2D drawings and 3D models for offshore facilities. This includes conducting detailed structure design, drafting, and modeling, as well as developing a thorough understanding of connection details.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of designers to deliver high-quality structural designs.
  • Develop and implement structure design databases in engineering management platforms.
  • Participate in model reviews and comment closure.
  • Review vendor documents related to structure details required for drawing development.
  • Ensure accurate As-Built Structural drawings and 3D models.
  • Mentor senior and junior designers.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the offshore or onshore oil and gas industry.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience at an FPSO contractor or offshore/onshore EPC contractor.
  • Minimum 1 FPSO/FLNG/offshore EPCI project experience as a structural designer.
  • Proficiency with structure design tools such as AutoCAD, AVEVA/E3D/PDMS.
  • ITI/draftsmanship/diploma in engineering (preferably civil) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong English language skills with excellent oral and written communication abilities.
