Job Overview:
A cloud data architect designs, builds, and maintains the infrastructure that supports an organization's data systems. This role involves ensuring that data is accurate, reliable, and secure.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Create scalable data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Develop and maintain cloud-based data platforms using AWS and Databricks.
- Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to ensure quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Python, SQL, PySpark, Bash scripting.
- ETL, data pipelines, structured/unstructured data.
- Databricks (Delta Lake, Workflows, CLI, Job Clusters, Workspace).
- Cloud Data Warehousing (Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks SQL).
- REST APIs, Flask/FastAPI, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Ml lifecycle & libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost).
- CI/CD (Jenkins), Git, orchestration tools (Airflow/Prefect).
