About the Role

As a Chassis Component Designer, you will be part of an engineering team responsible for conceptualizing and developing motorcycle chassis and structural components. Your expertise will ensure that our motorcycles meet performance, safety standards, and embody cutting-edge design and aesthetics.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive innovation and contribute to delivering exceptional riding experiences to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and calculate loads on parts
  • Develop 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings for motorcycle structural components
  • Apply principles of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Serviceability (DFS) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to projects
  • Choose materials based on factors like strength, weight, cost, and durability
  • Have basic understanding of functions of chassis systems, including suspension and brakes
  • Perform structural analyses and simulations to validate design performance under various conditions
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, decisions, and specifications
  • Proficiency in CAD software; strong understanding of simulation tools for structural and thermal
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as Assembly, Welding, Casting, Forging, and Machining
