We are seeking a seasoned technology leader to lead our technical team in designing and implementing large-scale web services deployed at enterprise level.

About This Role:
  • This position requires expertise in designing n-tier architecture, business/database abstraction layers, and server-side development for secure communication and access controls.
  • Key responsibilities include managing large-scale data transactions, ensuring data integrity, and batch processing through data sharding.
  • We require experience in developing web services for cloud deployment and scalability in application/database layers using cloud services.
  • Leveraging tools such as source code management, IDEs, and debuggers is also crucial.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of search engines, data integration & mediation, recommendation systems, and proficiency in Hadoop, Mahout, Hive, HDFS, etc.
  • Database optimization and runtime optimization with exposure to NoSQL DBs like Mongo DB, CouchDB, H-Base, Cassandra, and REDIS is essential.
  • This role involves leading multiple technical/module leads and participating in Architecture forums, performance tuning, and scalability enhancement.
  • Knowledge of latest technology trends in Databases, Web services, and Big Data is a must.
  • Extensive development experience on Amazon and other Public Cloud-based applications (VPC, EC2, ELB, EBS, Route53, S3, etc) is highly desirable.
