Finance Analyst Intern at ASSPL

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst Intern to join our team at ASSPL - Karnataka. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with business and finance leaders to produce and deliver financial analysis that would facilitate decision making. The candidate will be working with key stakeholders in one of our various business lines, including e-commerce, media and advertisement business, fintech, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities- Perform financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses, and financial modeling.
- Evaluate all price leading, price matching promotions done by the business team.
- Facilitate financial review meetings with business groups and work with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management.
- Work closely with the business managers to drive down inefficient cost and optimize for spends.
- Manage the financial planning and analysis effort, using the key input levers to the business.
- Develop ad hoc business analysis and present recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions, and planned future initiatives.
- Establish and maintain operating and business metrics.
- Facilitate the Business reviews with data analysis and follow through with business leaders on actionable items for improving business metrics over a period of time.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 1+ years of finance experience.
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience.
- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills.
- Experience using data to influence business decisions.
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting.
