About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at SponsorCloud. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our software products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, with experience in tools such as Karate and Selenium. You will be responsible for identifying and automating test scenarios, as well as maintaining and enhancing our existing test suites.

As a Senior QA Automation Specialist, you will work closely with our development team to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for creating detailed test plans and test cases, as well as executing and retesting cycles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grasp new product modules quickly and identify end-to-end automation scenarios.
  • Understand and enhance our existing Karate UI Automation Framework.
  • Maintain and enhance our existing test suites to ensure scalability and quality.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements and create holistic test cases.
  • Be open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements.
Desired Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in automation testing, with experience in tools such as Karate and Selenium. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in manual testing of web applications.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Front-End/UI Automation using Karate/Selenium.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in API Test Automation.
  • Experience in maintaining existing test suites in quick pace per sprint.
  • Experience in enhancing existing frameworks to make them perform better.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and experience working with gitlab/github.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a B.E/B.Tech Degree in Computer Science/Information Science/Electronics & Communication/Telecommunication/Electrical Engineering. ISTQB Certification is a must, and prior experience working on B2B Software, Platform or Product is also required. Domain experience from Finance, Capital Markets, Private Equity is a must-match.
