Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Database and Application Development Specialist to lead our SSIS/SSRS team.

  • Drive strategic direction, monitor job performance, and ensure the smooth execution of batch jobs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for user inquiries, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.
  • Develop and implement operational processes and best practices to enhance support operations and improve user satisfaction.
  • Log, prioritize, and collaborate with product teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Monitor critical issues, escalate when necessary, and provide workarounds for unsupported functionality.
  • Assist in refining Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to enhance service delivery and user satisfaction.
  • Create, modify, and troubleshoot SSIS packages, stored procedures, SQL queries, automation processes, and SQL jobs with a focus on performance.
  • Convert, manipulate, and prepare large volumes of data for ingestion into our systems using SQL Server integration tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.

Required Skills:

  • Over 10 years' experience in database and application development and support.
  • Proven expertise in SQL language with a strong focus on performance.
  • Experience developing and troubleshooting SSIS packages.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Sisense and SSRS.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts.
  • Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
