Cloud Data Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Data Engineering Specialist to design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure services and integrate data into AWS Datalake or other modern data platforms.

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related services to process, transform, and load massive datasets into data stores.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver efficient data solutions that meet business needs.
  • Work closely with data scientists to build effective data workflows and create data-driven insights.
  • Create and manage data storage solutions including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage to ensure data availability and consistency.
  • Implement data validation and cleansing procedures to guarantee data quality and integrity.
Key Requirements:
  • Strong hands-on experience in Informatica and cloud-based analytics platforms.
  • Expert-level knowledge of: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake & Azure App Service.
  • Experience with API ingestion and streaming ingestion methods to handle large volumes of data.
  • Familiarity with DevOps (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code principles to automate the development and deployment process.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse modeling (Kimball, Inmon) to design optimal data architectures.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of: Azure Databricks, Azure IoT, Azure HDInsight + Spark, Azure Stream Analytics, Power BI. Working knowledge of Python programming language and experience in developing security models.
