The Team:

Our engineering teams operate at the functional level, delivering new features and enhancements aligned with business priorities. We follow bi-weekly sprints to ensure timely and impactful results. Our collaborative structure ensures a seamless blend of expertise and dedication, driving success in every aspect of our operations.

To succeed in this role, an IFS engineer should have a strong background in each functional module with technology agility. They should be able to work collaboratively in a team environment, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and have a problem-solving mindset. They should also possess technical skills such as SQL, XML, and reporting tools, as well as knowledge of IFS applications and modules.

Past Job Experience:

As a point of contact on the ground, you will conduct functional discussions, manage scope, advise on local configuration, process, and data requirements. You will help prepare for and support testing locally, provide issue resolution, conduct super user training, and support user training. You will also facilitate business readiness activities and coordinate with central teams for design, build, test, deployment activities, and deliverables.

Hands-on experience implementing IFS Finance Modules, minimum version 9, and a strong understanding of IFS Financial design are essential. You will work closely with business stakeholders and key users to develop new and optimized workflows within IFS. You will also advocate and lead multiple projects on successful implementation with best practices.

Experience with invoicing, purchase to pay, project finance, accounts payable/receivable, cash flow, fixed assets, and other Finance/Accounting modules in IFS is required. You will work with engineering teams to identify, track, and resolve problems within IFS. You will create training materials and provide training to end users on the IFS system. You will also set up new companies, post controls, and report configurations.

Experience integrating IFS with external systems and financial institutions (banks) is highly desirable.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years in customer-facing projects is required. Providing functional expertise to support the implementation, upgrade, configuration, and maintenance of the IFS solution is essential. Working closely with customers to create solution outlines and solution definitions for new IFS requirements or to extend the use of a current IFS setup is also required.

Addressing support incidents as assigned to you via the service desk is a key responsibility. Providing architectural direction and guidance to all staff relating to finance IFS functionality is also essential.

To add immediate value and succeed in this role, you will be currently working as a Functional Consultant within an IFS environment. Good knowledge of accountancy is vital, and ACCA/CIMA/AAT qualifications are highly desirable. A confident user of IFS Financials, with experience in implementations and upgrades, is also highly advantageous. Any Power BI experience and expertise is highly advantageous.

Soft Skills:

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is essential. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels are also required. Strong problem-solving mindset and consulting and accounting background are highly desirable. Experience of working in a global environment and experience in rolling out ERP solutions internationally are also highly advantageous.

Good business documentation and presentation skills are essential. Providing user training and support, including writing user manuals and documentation, is also a key responsibility. Ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards and maintaining system security and integrity is also essential. Troubleshooting and resolving system issues, including data discrepancies and configuration errors, is also a key responsibility. Keeping up to date with IFS technology trends and best practices is also essential.
