Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Program management professional to join our Site Reliability Engineering team with Operations group.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between Application development and Reliability engineering, driving complex programs by understanding technical components and their dependencies, partnering with cross-functional teams, developing execution plans, and ensuring timely delivery.

This role offers an opportunity to get involved in cutting-edge technologies, architectural discussions, and challenge technical acumen.

Responsibilities :

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive programs, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions.
  2. Plan, monitor, and drive project execution, providing effective status and progress metrics to relevant stakeholders.
  3. Coordinate release and backlog planning and prioritization with cross-functional teams Product Engineering, Infrastructure & Security Operations.
  4. Work with the SRE Operations leadership to establish quarterly roadmaps and facilitate technical decisions or trade-offs to ensure clarity across teams.
  5. Use Program management skills, technical background, and product knowledge to proactively identify risks, issues, and drive their resolution.
  6. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, fellow Project/Program managers, Engineering, and Cloud Operations team to collaborate and ensure timely project delivery.
  7. Effectively use JIRA, Confluence, and other tools to track project status and ensure metrics are easily accessible for relevant stakeholders.
  8. Coordinate with internal Security groups for vulnerability management, code security, and drive security posture improvement.
  9. Drive process adoption, analyze current processes & practices, identify gaps, and suggest improvements.
  10. Identify system improvements, research, and suggest new tools to ensure Qualys Cloud Platform is robust, highly available, and transparent in operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Graduate/Post Graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar fields.
  • 12+ years of overall professional experience in software industry.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in Technical program/project management.
