Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect to join our team at MNR Solutions Private Limited. As a Cloud Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data models and architecture on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

About the Role: The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in data modeling and architecture, with a strong emphasis on cloud platforms, particularly GCP. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective data modeling solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models tailored for GCP, utilizing tools such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Dataflow.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into effective data modeling solutions.
  • Implement best practices for data modeling that enhance performance and scalability of data solutions in GCP environments.
  • Integrate diverse data sources into GCP, ensuring seamless data flow into data lakes and warehouses while maintaining data quality.
  • Automate data ingestion, transformation, and modeling processes using GCP services.
  • Monitor and improve the performance of data models to meet evolving business needs.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide actionable insights based on developed models.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in data modeling and architecture, with a strong emphasis on cloud platforms, particularly GCP.
  • Extensive knowledge of data modeling techniques, cloud data warehousing concepts, and GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Dataflow.
  • Proficient in SQL and familiar with NoSQL databases.
  • Strong analytical skills in data analysis and data preprocessing.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification preferred.
