The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality videos and photographs of events, activities, and campus life in real-time. They will engage with students, faculty, and participants to enhance the quality and authenticity of the footage.
Key responsibilities include operating and maintaining cameras, lighting, and other equipment to produce professional-grade outputs. The successful candidate will also manage, organize, and maintain the footage database, ensuring easy access for stakeholders.
Additionally, they will quickly edit, upload, and share captured footage with relevant teams for promotional or documentation purposes. Direct uploads to platforms like YouTube are required, with proper metadata, tags, and descriptions for optimal visibility.
The Multimedia Content Creator will collaborate with the content and design teams to align outputs with branding guidelines and messaging.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a videographer/photographer with a strong portfolio showcasing work in events, candid shoots, and storytelling.
- Strong technical knowledge of camera operations, lighting, and video editing techniques.
- Familiarity with YouTube uploading and optimization processes, including metadata, tags, and descriptions.
- Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to manage equipment effectively and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong organizational skills to manage and share a comprehensive footage database.
- Flexibility to adapt to on-campus schedules and event requirements.
- Quick turnaround time (TAT) in capturing, editing, and sharing footage.
