Role: C# Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai

Experience: 4-7 Years

Hybrid Mode

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days Max

Mandatory Skills - C#, Specflow, API Testing, BDD / Rest Sharp

Important Note: Automation testing professionals with C# experience are preferred. Java expertise is not required for this role.

Key Job Description

The successful candidate will possess:

  • At least 3 years of experience in software testing, integration testing, and testing of cloud services
  • Good knowledge of Kubernetes, Azure Cloud Services, Docker, Octopus-based deployments, test processes, and tools
  • Experience in integrating automation into various CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of STLC, Agile framework, and test cycles in Agile, test case design, and managing defect workflows
  • Test automation experience of at least 3 years, with C#, Playwright, Selenium, Specflow, and Rest Sharp
  • Must have at least 5-6 years of test automation experience with C#, preferably within a BDD environment using SpecFlow
  • Must have experience in API automation framework development using RestSharp
  • Must have experience in using Postman, creating collections, and utilizing Postman for API testing
  • Expertise in NUnit / MS Test / Specflow and framework types like data-driven, page object/page factory models
  • Strong working knowledge of Selenium for web applications
  • Experience with automation frameworks and framework design

Candidates must also have experience in automating APIs in middleware systems.

  1. Proficiency in C# programming language
  2. Experience with automation testing frameworks like Specflow and Selenium
  3. Knowledge of API testing and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development)
  4. Understanding of Agile development methodologies
  5. Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
