Job Summary

A challenging opportunity for an experienced SAP Basis Administrator has emerged at Bristol Myers Squibb, a leading global biopharmaceutical company.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day support for SAP systems, ensuring their smooth operation and optimal performance. This involves monitoring system health, identifying and resolving issues promptly, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other applications and technologies.

You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP systems, including ABAP & Java systems, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP Business Suites, and SAP Solution Manager. Additionally, you will perform system refreshes, copies, upgrades, patches, and installations in accordance with best practices and company guidelines.

To thrive in this role, you should have a strong understanding of various SAP technologies, such as S/4HANA, BW, GTS, ATTP, PPM, SLT, Solution Manager, Fiori, GRC, ABAP, Java, SAP BTP, SaaS, AWS, and Cloud integration components. Experience in full life cycle implementation of multiple SAP systems, installations, upgrades, and patches is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support for SAP systems, ensuring their smooth operation and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other applications and technologies.
  • Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including ABAP & Java systems, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP Business Suites, and SAP Solution Manager.
  • Perform system refreshes, copies, upgrades, patches, and installations in accordance with best practices and company guidelines.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure optimal system availability and performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
  • Strong understanding of various SAP technologies, such as S/4HANA, BW, GTS, ATTP, PPM, SLT, Solution Manager, Fiori, GRC, ABAP, Java, SAP BTP, SaaS, AWS, and Cloud integration components.
  • Experience in full life cycle implementation of multiple SAP systems, installations, upgrades, and patches is highly desirable.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off.
