About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Incident Response Lead to join our team at Kimberly-Clark. As an Incident Response Lead, you will be responsible for leading a virtual team of Incident Response participants during times of active incidents. You will advise incident responders in the steps to take to investigate and resolve computer security incidents.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Independently planning, organizing, and devising approaches necessary to respond to incidents and obtain useful forensic information from the evidence submitted.
  • Leading a virtual team of Incident Response participants during times of active incidents.
  • Advising incident responders in the steps to take to investigate and resolve computer security incidents.
  • Prioritizing and differentiating between potential intrusion attempts and false alarms.
  • Conducting incident and investigations post-mortem briefings, analysis, and reporting as required.
  • Conducting forensic investigations, including physical/logical disk and memory examinations.
  • Providing technical guidance to investigations to correctly gather, analyze, and present digital evidence to both business and legal audiences.
  • Correlating threat intelligence with active attacks and vulnerabilities within the enterprise.
  • Monitoring and analyzing security events and identifying trends, attacks, and potential threats.
  • Staying current on the latest trends, best practices, and technology developments.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in IT/computer science or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in Incident Response.
  • Exceptional ability to remain calm under stress.
  • Experience working in a large enterprise that employs a wide range of security management tools.
  • Solid organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
  • Solid negotiation, influence, mediation, and conflict management skills.
  • Expert understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, iOS/Android).
  • Expert understanding of network architecture and security infrastructure placement.
  • The ability to work 24/7 in case there is a need to conduct an investigation off hours.
