The successful candidate will be working closely with a leading provider of telecommunications solutions, supporting clients worldwide from a fully remote location in India.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting complex issues with GTD-5 switches, utilizing expertise to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Delivering top-tier telephony and hardware support, including fault isolation and resolution, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Interfacing with customers, support teams, and vendors to effectively resolve network issues, maintaining strong communication and customer focus.
  • Guiding field teams on proper trouble isolation and hardware replacement procedures, ensuring consistent service quality.
  • Documenting internal processes and mentoring junior engineers, fostering growth and development within the team.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely ticket updates, participating in an on-call rotation, and contributing to the team's overall success.

Requirements for this position include:

  • A minimum of five years' hands-on experience in GTD-5 hardware support and telephony troubleshooting.
  • Experience with call processing and translations, as well as familiarity with central office procedures.
  • Strong skills in communication, customer focus, and documentation, along with the ability to work independently from home and manage time effectively.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience), showcasing a solid foundation in technical expertise.
