Senior PHP Web Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced developer to join our development team.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic, high-performance web applications using PHP and related technologies.
  • They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions that meet business requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy web applications using PHP, MySQL, and relevant frameworks (such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony).
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver timely solutions.
  • Maintain and update existing applications as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience with PHP frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, or similar.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
  • Understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
